Board of Directors

NADINE MORTON
President
I am involved in FPFA because I want to help make positive changes for our families and our children. I want us to receive the most services possible in French now and in the future.

JUSTINE MAGEAU
Vice-president
I get involved in FPFA because my family, education and my Francophonie are priorities for me. I like to get involved with my community in order to improve our services.

GENEVIÈVE SAVARD
Treasurer
I am involved in FPFA because the French language is important to me. I am proud to be French in an English-speaking community and my children can live in a bilingual multicultural environment.

PIERRE FLOC’H-ANDERSON
Secretary
I am involved in FPFA because I want to :
- share my 15+ years of experience as a francophone parent in Alberta: relationships with school principals and school boards, fundraising for societies, relationships with parents (established and newcomers)
- continue to increase the participation of Francophones in the southern part of the province (from Bellevue to Airdrie, Canmore to Medicine Hat)
- assist Alberta parents through FPFA resources to achieve their goal of educating their children in French

FANA OUSSEINI
Director
I am involved with the FPFA to help ensure the promotion, maintenance and success of Francophone schools and programs, to develop attractive strategies that will ensure massive parental involvement in order to support and expand our Francophone community.

GENEVIÈVE GÉLINAS
Director

MÉLANIE MEYER
Director
I am involved in the FPFA because I am grateful for the choice Francophones have to be able to pursue an education in French, and I hope that this choice can continue to evolve in all spheres of communication. By being part of the FPFA council, I hope to participate in the progress of our beautiful language.

NICODÈME NZISABIRA
Director

NOÉMIE VALOIS
Director
I am involved in FPFA because I see the incredible value that this organization brings to francophone parents in the province. I would like to help increase the number of resources and activities available to parents of teenagers, and also strengthen the link between the FPFA and French-language school boards in the province, to increase the loyalty of French-speaking children from elementary school. at the secondary level and then at the college and university level. Francophone education is really close to my heart and I want to bring my perspective to the provincial level.

PILAR BUITRAGO
Director
I am involved in the FPFA because I think that through an organization like the FPFA, I could contribute more broadly to the Francophone community in southern Alberta. I would like to be able to contribute as a team to the search for resources and the representation of the services of the FPFA in a minority setting.
